title: Back to the future
''Is being heart-broken the result of too much love, or reliance?'' - Joanne Peh
Yeah, I took it from her blog, Circus Of Joy, but I'm acknowledging her, right? Now, put down your tomatoes and comprehend the quote.
Yeah, its 2009. First blog entry of the year. Teh topic?
Love. (Surprise, surprise!)
Oh shut up, I'm not in love. I'm too young. I'm 13 for God's sake.
Yeah, what IS love exactly? Is it a feeling? Or a physical representation of 'attraction'?
Love can be anything. For example, caring for your friend, that's love, ain't it? Yeah. Being married, that's love. Worrying about your mother, who is overseas, that's love too. But what IS it, exactly?
Nope, I'm not talking about that 'OMG ILU BE MAI GF AIISHIITERU~' or '110907! 5 months with MAI B0iB0i! ILU!' shit. That certainly isn't love.
Crap.
You may think your so called 'crush' is love, but, its not. It's called infatuation.
You may also think that worrying about your friend is love, but maybe, its not. Maybe its because you don't want to be called 'unsympathetic'.
You may think that being married is love, but no, with marriage, there is this opposite called 'divorce' right?
So, that means, love can be anything. But, it can also be nothing. Maybe, love is a personal opinion. Well, I think that love is just a feeling. It can increase over time, as in obsession, and decrease, as in indifferent.
So, what IS love, generally? (AMAHGAWSH, IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR 92450275892 TIMES)
Hey, Joanne's quote made me think too, love can be reliance too. For example, yeah, yo 'love' your computer, but maybe its because you rely on it to communicate. See? Love can be ANYTHING!
Sigh. Love is but a mysterious thing. I love you, that special someone, whoever you might be.
(What a messed up post this is ._.)
So, lemme end this post with a question.
What does love mean to YOU?
Happy New Year.
Love you everyone =o
(Golly, Joanne's blog is inspiring, and no, NOT YOU ANNE.)
